Cancelling a subscription

After a subscription's free trial period, you will be billed automatically every month or year until you cancel the subscription. Google Wallet will bill the credit card you originally used to make the purchase.

You may cancel your subscription at any point, meaning your subscription will not renew at the end of the current term. If you do, no additional charges will be made, and you will retain access to the content you received through the end of the active subscription period.

Cancel your subscription through Google Play on the web

Option 1

Go to https://play.google.com/magazines on a web browser
Find your subscription and click on Cancel
You'll be asked to confirm your subscription cancellation
Option 2

Go to https://play.google.com/store/account on a web browser
Find your subscription, and click on the triangle to the right of Report a Problem
Click Cancel subscription.
Cancel your subscription through the Google Play Store app

Open the Google Play Store app on your device
Search for the magazine's title
In the magazine's listing, tap Cancel. You'll be asked to confirm your subscription cancellation.
Cancel your subscription through Google Wallet

Go to http://wallet.google.com/manage on a web browser
Click into the line item for the magazine subscription you wish to cancel
Click on the Cancel subscription button. You won't be asked to confirm your subscription cancellation, so please be sure you want to end your subscription.
Please note that canceling a subscription will stop the recurring fee moving forward and you will have access to the content until your last payment expires. Canceling a subscription will not retroactively refund subscription payments, and previously charged subscription fees cannot be pro-rated based on cancellation date. For example, if you purchased a one-year subscription on Jan. 1 for £10 and decide to cancel your subscription on July 1, you will have access to the subscription until Dec. 31 and will be charged the full £10, but you will not be charged another yearly subscription of £10 the following Jan. 1.
